In the 'signals' the top pie chart show the number of trains that actually arrived at Silverdale, out of the number that were 'timetabled' to arrive. The lower pie chart shows the average wait for a timetabled train, i.e. the average time from when a train was timetabled to arrive to when the first train in the same direction actually arrived. Each wait is limited to 2 hours maximum. Note that the National Rail Timetables are used (normally updated twice a year) and not the temporary (reduced) timetables introduced by Northern Rail all too frequently.
